About
Creating virtual reality content to fight anxiety and depression.
Our work examines the capability of immersive content to treat mental health ailments. Originally, Psych VR was founded to fight depression in astronauts experiencing long periods of isolation. We have since expanded our scope to treat anxiety and depression in any individual experiencing prolonged physical or emotional isolation.
The project was featured as part of segment on the New York Times Daily 360.
Psych VR is funded in part by the Space Medicine Laboratory at the Geisel School of Medicine and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
